Linga longa Beach Cottage. Linga Longa is a comfortable self-catering cottage situated in the beautiful village of Suiderstrand, completely surrounded by the Agulhas National Park. A weekend at Suiderstrand is about two and a half hour's drive from Cape Town at the southernmost tip of Africa. You can see the little holiday village catching the sunlight in the distance as you approach and you get that feeling that this is going to be a great place to stay. The cottage consists of three en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a large open-plan living area with a fireplace. This lounge is a lovely area to sit quietly and read your book, or chat with friends and family.
Suiderstrand is approximately 5km away from L'Agulhas, which is the Southern most town in Africa where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. The area surrounding the cottage is filled with interesting flora and fauna. A quick walk down the road will take you to Pebble Beach. This area is one of the most favorite nursing places for the Southern Right Whales.
