Kalk Bay Cottages are situated in this trendy seaside village, unique to the suburbs of Cape Town, on the Southern Peninsula of False Bay. It is one of the few places where the group areas act did not impact the 150 year old fishing community which still operates today where you can bargain and purchase fresh fish in the harbour and enjoy watching the boats return, shadowed by seagulls, from their pre-dawn launch. Kalk Bay lies in a beautiful setting between ocean and mountain with many caves and walks to explore. During certain months of the year you will see the whales basking in the bay which are often visible from the cottages or from the scenic route of Boyes Drive overlooking Muizenberg, St James and Kalk Bay.
